BTG Hotels reported 265.55% increase in operating revenue from RMB 637 million to RMB 2.328 billion, according to the interim financial results released on August 30.
The company registered operating revenue of RMB 2.119 billion from hotel operation and management. Home Inn achieved RMB 1.687 billion revenue from April to June. The average room rate (ARR) of Home Inn in the first half of this year was RMB 160.72 per night, a YoY increase of 3.47%; the average occupancy rate (AOR) reached 83.2%, up 1.8% over the previous year, and RePAR was RMB 133.76, 5.76% higher than the same period last year.
The Home Inn brands achieved an average YoY increase of 4.5% in RevPAR in the first half of the year. Among them, middle-and-high-end brands including Yitel and Homeinn Plus performed the best, with the former’s RevPAR increased 13% and the latter’s 22.4%. The hotels that have been in operation for more than 18 months achieved a YoY increase of 2.1% in RevPAR.
For the second quarter, the Home Inn brands recorded an average YoY increase of 3.6% in RevPAR. Yitel and Homeinn Plus also had the highest growth in RevPar in this period – the former’s gained 14.3% and the latter’s 34.8%.
