The HNA Aviation Group yesterday announced in a notice that HNA Aviation & Tourism will restructure to focus on its core aviation businesses. The notice, seen by ChinaTravelNews, listed HNA Aviation Group’s revamped management system, business adjustment covering business lines such as Deerjet, HNA Cargo, HNA Catering, HNA Tourism (Caissa) and HNA Hospitality.
Notably, HNA Aviation will evolve to mainly focus on air services instead of integrated travel services. Hainan Airlines Holding will operate solely as an airline and its management functions including corporate security, operations, HR & administration and finance, will be transferred to HNA Aviation headquarters. In addition, HiApp, Haina Caifu Management and HNA Tourism Investment Management will be discontinued.
Following the realignment, HNA Aviation & Tourism will be renamed HNA Aviation.The range of aviation and auxiliary services includes flight operations, cargo transportation, general aviation services, catering, tourism, hotels and payment.
Hainan Airlines Holding
HNA Aviation headquarters will be in charge of businesses related to corporate security, operations, HR & administration and finance, which are currently under the management of Hainan Airlines Holding.
HNA Tourism
HNA Tourism (Caissa) will take charge of subsidiary tourism-related businesses, including Shanxi Aviation & Tourism backed by the Shanxi government and the HNA Group, Hong Tai Travel Services and Sunflower Travel.
HNA Hospitality
The hotel resources of HNA Hospitality will be merged and allocated by HNA International Hotel Management. HNA Hospitality brands include Northeast Electric Development and a portfolio of 52 hotels.
HiApp
HiApp, a subsidiary of HNA Aviation & Tourism, Haina Caifu Management and HNA Tourism Investment Management will be discontinued.
