This new resort is a testament to our commitment to the mountain destination and our desire to play a leading role in the development of the Alpine tourist heritage."
A large-scale project for Club Med, which will spur the development of the Savoie region and of the Alps.
After 18 months of construction, Club Med Les Arcs Panorama should welcome this winter season over 13,000 clients from 40 different nations.
For the investing partners, Foncière Hôtelière des Alpes, Banque des Territoires – groupe Caisse des Dépôts, Groupe Crédit Agricole des Savoie, Groupe Caisse d’Epargne Rhône Alpes and Banque Populaire Auvergne-Rhône Alpes, the construction of this new resort represents a total investment of nearly 100 million euros.
This 433-room Premium resort (4 Tridents) with an Exclusive Collection Space (5 Tridents) is one of the largest mountain resorts in the world. The construction of Club Med Les Arcs Panorama has generated 900 direct and indirect jobs, including jobs for at least 60 ski instructors from the Ecole de Ski Français.
The resort offers a vast choice of unrivalled sports, well-being, cultural and culinary activities, allowing customers to explore the Savoie region, discover and appreciate products made and produced in the Tarentaise valley. Thanks to a premium all-inclusive package by Club Med, Les Arcs Panorama provides clients with “hassle-free” holidays at the best value for money.
With this new flagship resort in the French Alps, Club Med is consolidating its unique positioning as global leader in all-inclusive premium holidays in the mountains and re-asserting its ambition to open one new resort per year in the Alps.
In December 2020, Club Med will open its 1st Mountain resort in Canada in the Massif de Charlevoix (in Quebec), a resort that will stay open all year round. Club Med is studying a 3rd project in China – after openings of Yabuli and Beidahu resorts - and in South Korea.
These future openings and projects are in line with the international development strategy of Club Med with the ambition of opening three to more than five resorts a year in the world by 2020.
