OYO, India's largest hospitality company, and Ctrip, China’s largest online travel company, inked a strategic cooperation agreement on May 27, enabling users to get access to OYO hotels on the Ctrip platform, reported Tencent News Yixian.
The two companies will have in-depth cooperation in traffic exchange, platform interoperability, data operation, and brand promotion in accordance with the agreement.
OYO will team up with Ctrip to further explore possible collaboration and support hotel owners in branding, talent, technology, traffic and operations, OYO said.
This move showed OYO has turned around its relationships with China’s online travel agencies that blocked OYO hotels from their platforms last year.
In addition, OYO Hotel has also been reported to have reached a partnership with Meituan and will get OYO hotels available on Meituan’s website soon.
"We are very much focused only on (hotels), and you will see OTAs change their mind and work with us,” OYO China's CFO Wei Li said in an earlier interview.
