China's largest online travel company just announced a fresh round of executive restructuring to embrace "a new chapter ahead" of it.
Ms. Jane Sun, CEO of the Trip.com Group, said in an internal email that the company has established an "Executive Rotation Program" and that senior executive Mr. Xing Xiong is appointed as the first acting COO under this program.
The rotation program will last 1-2 years for each term.
Flight BG, Accommodation BG, Corporate Travel BU, IBU, and Tech Department will report to Mr. Xing, who will continue to enhance the range and scope of the company’s growth and bring the best products, technology, and services to the company's customers and partners.
Trip.com Group has also named Mr. Yudong Tan as CEO of Flight BG. Mr. Tan joined the company in 2014 as Technical Director of Flight BG and was promoted to BG CTO and Group Vice President in 2016 and 2017 respectively. Since joining Trip.com Group, he made significant improvements to the air-ticket search engine and self-service automation system. He also played a key role in collaboration with TravelFusion and Skyscanner.

Prior to joining Trip.com Group, Yudong has worked in the Silicon Valley for more than 10 years, helping major brands such as Intel, Nvidia, Yelp, and Microsoft.
Other than that, Mr. Jiqin Fang is appointed as the Chairman of Corporate Travel BU. Mr. Fang joined Trip.com Group in 2000 and was the General Manager of national B2C sales before serving as the CEO of Corporate Travel BU in 2013.
Mr. Yong Zhang has been appointed as CEO of Corporate Travel BU.
