Smart theme park operator Beijing Apeiron Creativity Technology has secured nearly RMB 100 million (about USD 15.5 million) in its angel financing round led by ENN Capital, according to business media platform 36Kr.
Apeiron said that it would use the proceeds to expand R&D of intelligent products based on existing intellectual property (IP) resources, as well as further develop digital capabilities, enhance interactive experiences for tourists and speed up the construction of theme parks to serve more Chinese families and inspire creativity in children.

Apeiron has its own membership program and generates revenues mainly through tickets, repeat consumption and online services.
Apeiron has developed a complete operating chain which covers every aspect from product R&D and infrastructure to on-site operation and consumer experience.
The company’s proprietary MR.GES system is designed to disrupt traditional theme parks’ homogeneous experience through integrating mixed-reality game experience and smart play interactive system.
