Chinese lifestyle hotel company Atour has amended its Form F-1 filing for IPO, updating performance data for 2021.
As of December 31, 2021, Atour’s hotel network covered 745 hotels spanning 138 cities in China, with a total of 86,654 hotel rooms, including 712 manachised hotels with a total of 81,594 manachised hotel rooms, in addition to a pipeline of 338 hotels with a total of 37,987 rooms under development.
As of December 31, 2021, its A-Card loyalty program had amassed more than 30 million registered individual members. In 2021, approximately 39.7% of the room nights were sold to its A-Card members.
As of December 31, 2021, the company had developed a total of 1,665 SKUs for scenario-based retail. The GMV generated from the retail business increased by 29.5% from RMB 82.8 million in 2019 to RMB 107.2 million in 2020, and further substantially by 112.9% to RMB 228.2 million in 2021.
Atour generated net revenues of RMB 1,567.1 million, RMB 1,566.6 million and RMB 2,147.6 million for the years ended December 31, 2019, 2020 and 2021, respectively. It had net income of RMB 60.8 million, RMB 37.8 million and RMB 139.7 million for the years ended December 31, 2019, 2020 and 2021, respectively.
Trip.com Group, which owns a 14.8% stake in Atour, generated RMB 588 million in 2021 hotel reservation payments for the hotelier, a rise of 128% from 2020.
