Chinese GDS giant TravelSky Technology reported a total revenue of RMB 2,272 million (USD 324 million) for the first half of 2022, down by 20% year-on-year.
Aviation information technology service revenue declined by 45.7% to RMB 801.9 million in January-June this year, representing 35.3% of the group’s total revenue in the first half of the year, as compared to 52.0% in the first half of 2021.
System integration service revenue increased by 26.3% to RMB 600.3 million, accounted for 26.4% of the group’s total revenue in the first half of 2022, as compared to 16.7% in the first half of 2021.
Data network revenue increased by 15.9% to RMB 232.3 million in the first half of 2022. That's 10.2% of the company's total revenue.
Net profit of the company attributable to the shareholders of the parent company increased from RMB 275.2 million in the first half of 2021 to RMB 443.0 million in the first half of 2022, representing an increase of RMB167.8 million.
TravelSky said the domestic and overseas economic situation for the second half of 2022 will still be complex and volatile, but China's air transport market is recovering from twists and turns. The company said it will expand emerging businesses and strengthen product promotion to drive steady growth in operating results.
