Atour Lifestyle Holdings Limited, a major Chinese hotel group listed on NASDAQ, reported that its revenue grew 5.4% to RMB 2,263 million (USD 328 million) in 2022.
The company reported a net loss of USD 12 million for Q4, but a net income of USD 14 million for the full year 2022.
Aour's business comprises of three major segments: the manachised hotels, the leased hotels, and the "retail and others". For 2022, revenues from manachised hotels accounted for a bit more than 60% of the company's total revenue, the leased hotels took up 24.4% while the retail and others business was around 15.4%.
Mr. Haijun Wang, Atour's Founder, Chairman and CEO, said: “For full-year 2022, we achieved a year-over-year increase of 5.4% in total revenues and recorded profitability for the fourth consecutive year...We commenced 2023 with a defined roadmap to operate a total of 2,000 premier hotels by the end of 2025...”
As of December 31, 2022, there were 932 hotels with a total of 107,998 hotel rooms in operation across Atour’s hotel network, as well as 363 hotels under development.
