Beijing Uevent Public Relations Planning Co., Ltd. (Uevent), a subsidiary of Chinese outbound travel and MICE services operator UTour, has restructured as a limited liability company and is planning to apply for a listing on the New Third Board, officially known as the National Equities Exchange and Quotations (NEEQ).
Uevent, which provides public relations planning, MICE and exhibition services, has two subsidiaries – UTour Business Travel (“众信商务”) and You Zhong Guo Ji (“优众国际”).
Uevent offers integrated marketing planning services encompassing branding support, creative advertisement, visual design, exhibition design, public relations execution and mobile App development, servicing companies of various scales from different industries. As well, Uevent also supports its subsidiaries with diversified one-stop services such as integrated marketing consulting, planning and operation of large projects and mega projects locally and abroad, as well as upgrading destination development.
Uvent’s subsidiary UTour Business Travel plans business delegations, training, incentive travel, roadshows, conferences and exhibitions for companies, governments and institutions. The other subsidiary You Zhong Guo Ji is a high-end MICE operator that offers comprehensive services from planning, organization, design, transportation to operation.
Uevent is seeking to list on the New Third Board in a bid to improve governance, enhance brand power, attract and retain talents as well as consolidate core competitiveness. It will change its name to UTour Bo Rui Integrated Marketing Consultation Co., Ltd. (“众信博睿整合营销咨询股份有限公司”)
The planned listing will not have any impact on UTour as a separate listed company, yet it will help boost coordination and synergy among UTour’s businesses, which is conducive to group operation and improving the asset value and brand value of UTour. (Translated by Claire)
