What is AB HWC Portal?
AB HWC Portal is the short form of Ayushman Bharat Health and Wellness Centers: This is a government portal related to public health. The website address of this portal is http://www.ab-hwc.nhp.gov.in. One of the most important aspects of this portal is the fact that it enables people of lower income groups or weaker sections to avail of affordable medical care and health care without much cost. This portal is included in the Prime Minister’s inclusive healthcare system comprising health & wellness and health insurance coverage.

How to Complete your Registration with AB HWC Portal?
To avail the benefits of this scheme, you have to first register yourself with the AB HWC portal. The Registration process has been designed in such a way that all Indian citizens can fill in the requisite information columns easily.
The basic purpose of the AB HWC portal is to enable people living below the poverty line to avail and access the best healthcare services and medical help from government hospitals. There are some selected private hospitals also (besides the government ones) from where a person living below the poverty line to avail of medical treatment free of cost.
You Have to Follow Certain Steps to Register Yourself. These Steps are Explained Below:
Step 1: Visit the official site and fill in the prescribed form.
Step 2: Fill in your name, gender, age, and address.
Step 3: Enter Identity proof (Aadhar Card, Ration Card, Pan Card, and Voter Id).
You have to wait for about 15 days for the AB HWC card to arrive at the postal address given by you.
How to Login into AB HWC Portal?
The AB HWC Portal has its own Login procedure. This Login is necessary for the hospitals and private nursing homes listed under it to complete its Data Entry job for every patient availing of the Ayushman Card.
To Log in, You have to Take the Following Steps in a Systematized Way:
Step 1: Go to the official portal which is http://www.ab-hwc.nhp.gov.in.
Step 2: Go to the homepage and select the “Ayushman Bharat –Health &Wellness Centers” tab.
Step 3: Select your State, District, Town and Category.
Step 4: On feeding the information, the Ayushman Bharat portal will open. You will find all AB HWC lists with eligible HWC centers.
Step 5: You can now check the total number of urban and rural primary health centers.
HWC Portal Daily Entry
Ayushman Bharat Health and Wellness Centre Authority provide insurance of Rs. 500,000. This facility is meant for at least 10 crore people annually belonging to BPL (Below the Poverty Level). The BPL people can avail of health benefits from any of the 15,0000 wellness and health centers spread all over India.
For this, regular Data Entry is required. The HWCs Data entry is required by the government hospitals and nursing homes included in the list. These paneled medical centers will enter data for various ailments including:
- ENT facility
- Mental Health care
- Aged care services
- Emergency services
- Adolescent and pediatric health
- Communicable diseases
- Children and Teenager health care services
- Family planning
- Management services
- Pregnancy and childbirth.
The HWC Portal Data Entry on Daily Basis Can be Done in the Following Way:
- Visit the AB –HWC website https://ab-hwc.nhp.gov.in/home/login.
- Select the menu tab to open various options:
- Home
- Facility profile
- Family images Data entry
- Choose the Daily Reporting tab to open three options:
- Daily reporting format
- Monthly service delivery format
- Wellness report formats then
- Select the “Daily Reporting format” option to open a new page.
- Enter the required details and upload the mandatory documents.
- Proceed to the view report section and organize your data by date, patient, gender, or more.

How to Download AB-HWC App?
The Downloading of the AB HWC App can be done in a simple way. You can install the App on your laptop, PC, or Android handset. Android emulator can be used to install AB-HWC on your laptop. Bluestacks and MEmu play are considered the easiest ways to down this government App.
Bluestacks Downloading: Downloading Can be Done by Adopting the Following Step-Wise Method:
Step 1: Download this software on your laptop, desktop, or Android device.
Step 2: After this, you have to Double click downloaded bluestacks.exe file. This will enable the installation.
Step 3: On doing this, you can launch the Bluestacks app.
Step 4: Log in with your Google account on the next screen.
Step 5: On the Bluestacks, you can find the Google Playstore app. Click it.
Step 6: After this, search for the app – AB-HWC to download AB-HWC on your PC or laptop.
Step 7: Click the install button and the process of installation would start. AB-HWC App icon will come on the Bluestacks installed apps folder.
Step 8: The system is ready for you to operate.
You Can Download Using the Following Method in a Step-wise Way:
Step 1: To Download, you have to click MemuPlay – MemuPlay download link.
Step 2: Double-click Install the downloaded .exe file to start the installation. It may take up to three minutes to complete.
Step 3: Google Playstore will come. After the emulator is installed, go to the Google play store app on the home screen and Double-tap on the icon. It will now open.
Step 4: You can log in with your Google account and search for AB-HWC for PC.
Step 5: Go to National Health Portal-MoHFW and tap on the Install button. It will be installed on a PC or laptop.

The AB HWC is available only for Indian citizens who belong to the BPL grade. People belonging to financially weak groups can benefit from the health insurance scheme for preventive, rehabilitative, and palliative care. The Central Government funding is done for running this scheme.
