OpenJaw Technologies today announced that two new Chinese airlines – Tianjin Airlines and Longjiang Airlines – have selected the t-Retail Platform to enable their new retailing strategy for flight and ancillary selling.

Tianjin Airlines, based in Tianjin Binhai International Airport, Tianjin, China, is an important member of HNA Group. As one of China’s largest carriers, Tianjin Airlines operates more than 290 domestic and international routes. Tianjin Airlines carried more than 15 million passengers in 2019. “Partnering with OpenJaw enables Tianjin Airlines to take control of the complete process of flight product selling and dynamic ancillary packaging, which can provide our passengers a variety of personalised service options and get a full range of services covering the entire journey”. said Li Mingke, Deputy GM of M&S Department, Tianjin Airlines.
Longjiang Airlines, a start-up airline from Harbin Taiping International Airport, Harbin, China, commenced operations in 2017. Starting with a small fleet and five destinations, Longjiang Airlines has grown to enable full flight selling, including air and non-air ancillaries through OpenJaw’s t-Retail Platform, deployed by TravelSky Technology in Beijing. “We are delighted to have chosen the OpenJaw t-Retail Platform to ensure that Longjiang Airlines have a full retailing capability for our domestic markets”. said Haibin Chen, Deputy GM of Sales and Marketing, Longjiang Airlines.
With the addition of Tianjin Airlines and Longjiang Airlines to its Chinese airline portfolio, OpenJaw now counts fifteen Chinese airlines using the t-Retail Platform as well as other deployments of its t-Data Platform and t-Social Platform.
